Many "Learn To Cook" members never get a chance to attend our meetups because of work schedules, other commitments, and . . . well real life things that occur on the same day an event is scheduled. We thought it might be a good idea to produce an interactive online "Learn To Cook" version of our Meetup group. By cooking with the chef from home, members might be able to fit it into their schedules better. We also might be able to host the broadcast more frequently, while accommodating more people at the same time. Members would get a grocery list the week prior to the scheduled session so they can be prepared. Members would cook at home along with a live, real time video (from their computer) with the ability to type questions to the chef. He would then answer audibly through the video feed. Of course we would still have our regular meetups. This would in no way replace it. It would just be something extra, to give everyone a chance to participate.
